How do I get referred to see you?

A look at your insurance card will assist in figuring this out. CCHP and nearly any HMO requires a formal referral from your primary care doctor. Most PPO plans do not need a referral. Medicare does not require a referral, but some of the HMO based Medicare plans will require referrals.

What body parts do you treat?

I treat nearly any orthopedic condition that does not include the spine: the neck and back are a separate field in orthopedics and I can make recommendations for treatment to local pain management doctors.

What insurance plans are you on?

I do not take Medi-cal, and I have not yet been accepted for the John Muir HMO plan. Other than these plans I take nearly all other insurance plans. My office staff can assist in screening your insurance plan for access.
