Home Exercise Programs
At Home Exercises for Knees
The knee exercise program is intended for patients who have patellofemoral pain, are interested in strengthening their healthy knee, or who are recovering from knee replacement or knee arthroscopic surgery. Muscular rehabilitation for muscle tone is slowly acquired over time and this program should be done at least twice a day for 30 minutes each session
At Home Exercises for Shoulders
The home exercise program for the shoulder focuses on range of motion. It is intended for patients who have frozen shoulder or who are recovering motion after surgery. If you are doing this home program after surgery, please make sure to follow my timeline on when to begin relative to the surgical date. Shoulder stretching rehabilitation is paramount after surgery and for frozen shoulder. Physical therapy is an extra hour or two per week of stretching, but it simply will not be enough typically for a good outcome. This exercise program should be done three times a day for 30 minutes each session
